About Us

Hello, I am Kevin a loving and faithful husband to my high school sweetheart, Kim, of twenty-two years.  I have been able to support my family over the last ten years on my income while working in the oil and gas industry. On March 18, 2015 I was laid-off five days prior to my four year anniversary with my employer.  I called my wife on that day to inform her I was coming home early after being told it was not a personal decision but a business one.

My wife and I found ourselves asking the following question:  Okay, what do we do now?  I knew this much, that my identity was not with my last employer and that it is in Christ our savior.

During this time, my wife and I started questioning why we couldn’t generate an income for ourselves instead of me generating income for someone else.

We opened our store at shopKBInnovations.com as a result and aim to offer the highest quality products and customer service at the lowest cost possible. Believe me, we know what it is like to live on a budget!

We strive to offer our customers unique products, quick shipping and great customer service.

Thank you for supporting our business!

Organizations We Support when You Support Us

KB Innovations is proud to support 2 non-profit organizations with the proceeds of our sales.  Fifteen percent of our sales goes to support the Adoption and Foster Care Alliance of the Coastal Bend (AFCA) and Agape Ranch Ministries in Nueces County, Texas.

AFCA supports families who are currently adopting or fostering and families who are being licensed to adopt or foster.  AFCA also assists with post-adoption families.

AFCA supports these families by 3 means:

  • Mom's Night Out and Dad's Night Out so that parents can get together to talk about our adoption & foster journey.
  • Family Gatherings for families to gather to hang out & for our adopted and foster children to meet others who have similar life stories.
  • Facilitate gatherings between parents & local counselors/therapists to come and talk about various topics of interest such as attachment disorder, trauma and healing, drugs and effects on the brain, and using music and play as therapy.

Agape Ranch of Nueces County’s goal is to reduce the need for foster care in Nueces County.  As of April 2014 there were 158 children in Nueces County under Foster Care and 16,419 children in Texas.  Due to lack of foster homes, many children find themselves displaced from their homes into a different county or region, separated from siblings, and some are unable to have visitation with their family members.  For children in Nueces County 46.8% were placed in a home outside of Nueces County.

Agape Ranch seeks to serve foster children and partner with Christian couples who desire to serve as foster parents by providing the following means:

  • Reduced cost of housing and land/facilities well suited for the needs of foster children
  • Providing tutoring for extra educational assistance to foster children
  • A supportive community of foster parents
  • Respite providers to give foster parents a break from foster children
  • Training to potential and current foster parents on meeting foster children needs
